International Driving Permits
An International Driver's Permit is not a licence - you must also have a current Australian licence.
Australian tourists and residents may drive in Iran for an unlimited period as long as they are in possession of a valid Australian driving licence and a valid International Driving Permit issued by the State/Territory in which the driving licence was issued.
To renew your International Driving Permit (IDP), please contact the relevant IDP authority in your state or territory.
