Mr Ian McConville

Mr McConville is a senior career officer with the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade and was most recently Chief of Protocol.

He has previously served overseas as High Commissioner to Nigeria and to Mauritius, and served at diplomatic missions in the Republic of Korea, Switzerland (UN), Cambodia and Pakistan.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts, a Bachelor of Laws and a Masters of Foreign Affairs and Trade from Monash University, and a Graduate Diploma in Foreign Affairs and Trade from the Australian National University.  Mr McConville speaks French.
